Around Salema 9
Places to explore and things to do, in and around camp.
NearbySalema Beach
A beach day with fishing-village cafés and restaurants close at hand. The campsite advertises a free guest beach transfer; ask reception about pick-up times.
Plan: a relaxed half day. Check sea conditions on the day.
Dinosaur footprints
Look for three-toed tracks on the rock slab near the wooden beach steps. Turn it into a small geology adventure with the children; Ciência Viva also has a 3D model to explore.
Plan: a short stop during a beach visit. Check tides and local access; the science guide notes severe erosion of some tracks.
NearbyBoca do Rio
Explore a different coastal landscape where three streams meet the sea. A good idea for a picnic, nature sketchbooks, and noticing how the river mouth shapes the beach.
Plan: a half-day outing. Use the map to check the route from camp.
NearbyFishermen’s Trail
For walkers who want cliffs, coves, and sea views. Choose a short out-and-back section after reviewing the official route; the full Sagres–Salema stage is described as the trail’s hardest.
Uneven, sandy cliff paths; not a pushchair outing. Official guidance limits groups to 15 people. Choose a suitable section for your children.
On siteYoga & meditation
Yoga, holistic fitness, and meditation for adults and children. Book through the camp’s Activities Space and choose a class from the current schedule.
Check the 2027 timetable, age suitability, and price; not every class is free.
On siteDiscovery Kids Camp
Nature-connected play and creative activities for children and families within the park. A way to mix outdoor discovery, making things, and time together.
Ask about ages, supervision, booking, costs, and the programme during our stay. A 2027 programme is not yet confirmed.
On siteCoworking space
A dedicated coworking space open 24 hours a day, with a private office available to book for online meetings.
Confirm desk capacity for our group, internet performance, and private-office fees before booking our stay.
On siteMagic Garden
An outdoor garden for play, relaxing, and spending time together. The campsite describes a playground, activities, and evenings gathering around a campfire.
A place for families to meet during the day. Ask reception about scheduled activities and whether campfires are running during our stay.
NearbySanto António · Tennis & golf
Four tennis courts (two hard courts and two artificial-grass courts), tennis lessons, an 18-hole golf course, a driving range, and golf lessons. A nearby option for a sports afternoon.
April–May golf offers are listed in the 2026 rate sheet. Tennis also has a six-hours-for-five offer (€60 in 2026). Confirm 2027 prices, visitor access, equipment hire, and bookings with the resort.
